Neil Hillman, MPSE
Managing Director | Sound Designer, Senior Dubbing Mixer
For almost 30 years, people all over the world have been listening to Neil Hillman MPSE, or more precisely, the sound that he produces for television, film and radio. Right now, thanks to syndication and the amazing number of territories that the BBC, National Geographic and Discovery channels reach, somewhere in the world someone is listening to sound recorded, edited, designed or mixed by Neil, a member of the prestigious US Motion Picture Sound Editors and the UK Association of Motion Picture Sound.
As Managing Director, Neil has steered The Audio Suite towards achieving preferred supplier status with All3Media - the UK's largest Production Group - and recognised supplier status to the terrestrial broadcasters BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Five, as well as the digital channels of BBC 3 & BBC 4, ITV 4, National Geographic and Discovery.
Over the last decade The Audio Suite studios have delivered, literally, hundreds of hours of prime-time broadcast audio, sound designed and mixed feature films and serviced many TV and radio commercials.
Operational as a Sound Designer and Dubbing Mixer, Neil brings a passion for quality and value to every project; and this has also been brought to bear on delivering unprecedented clarity of sound to Corporate and not-for-broadcast Video and B2B communications, including the involvement of sister companies Suitetalk and SuiteX, and utilising the cutting-edge media of Podcasting and Bluetooth Proximity Technology.
In 2010, Neil was recognised by The Royal Television Society when he was bestowed with their Best Production Craft Skills Award. He was also a New York Film Festival Medal Winner in 2008 and 2009.
