Tim Kay
Assistant Dubbing Mixer, Product Specialist
Tim's wide brief is to handle all day-to-day enquiries regarding any aspect of our services. His intimate knowledge of the operations within The Audio Suite, backed up by his solid grounding in Media Production makes Tim the ideal, approachable and reassuring voice at the end of the telephone.
With a specialism for combining creativity with technical know-how, Tim's BA (Hons) degree in Media Production led to spells at both Aardman Features (working on 'The Curse of The Were-Rabbit') and Aardman Animation (the home of 'Wallace and Gromit' and 'Creature Comforts'); as well as the South-West's leading audio Post-Production facility, Films@59.
Tim's business card declares that he is a World Record Holder: in 2004 Tim took part in the longest ever football tour - 15 countries in 45 days, playing a match in each country. From the UK's Millenium Stadium the tour took in such ports-of-call as the Lichtenstein National Stadium and ended on a high in the Stade Mohammed V, Casablanca.
(We have no way, however, of confirming his claim of being the tour's highest goal-scorer.)
